The angle here is too distracting. Cut it in half. Straight up would be best.

i hope you have a straight version...

straight and slant versions would be PERFECT...

we (photogs) MUST please the customer... and that should be our attitude...

i have clients who like the slant version... and as you already read... some hate this slant version...

so it's up to the client!!

but the quality of your photo is neat! and again the client is the king... some might not like the PP... but i do like it...

:)

I agree with newspaper man. It's all about the client, so theyre the one to please. Whenever i try out something unique or artistic i always include a similar shot in a standard angle to offer the client also.

I personally like your image and i like the angle... pp is a little to soft for me, i love tack sharp portraits (at least the eyes and some other features on the face)

My personal opinion is that the diagonally held view is an EXTREMELY overused gimmick, and I almost never see a shot that's helped by it.

Well luckily the "client" is my girlfriend so it doesn't matter what she thinks wink . But i usually would never use this kind of angle unless i had a good amount that were straight, with a paid customer. They tend to not understand certain artistic visions. And i agree on the PP its a little too soft.

the angle is quite good. only thing I may have tried to do as far as framing goes would to have either the foreground foliage either a tad shorter by trimming or had her take a have step forward and to her right to place the foliage to her left.
