DA14mm goes to the old Canal, B&W shot.

This morning there was an heavy fog,so i went for some shots...i tooked only that one.
Even that close the fog reduced the sharpness of the shot.

Decided to do a B&W conversion...what do you think?

Something about this photo appeals to me yet at the same time it feels like there is something missing. I'm not sure if the background contributes enough to the picture to leave it in. I'm intrigued by the stairs and where they might lead so you might want to emphasize them more. Perhaps a square crop? I'm a big fan of B&W and of the square format so when you put them together...yummy!!

Is this something that could be reshot? Show us what you can do...

Not that I'm any authority at all - To my eye, the foreground dominates the canal apects of it perhaps a little too much? I couldn't find any adverse effects from the fog, though you may have been able to see it in a larger image in colour of course.
