Question for GF1 Owners

A friend brought over their GF1. After every time you take a photo in A,S ,P but not Ai mode, the microphone icon appears and starts recording an audio clip. How do you disable this?Read the manual but could not find the answer. Please tell me that it is something very simple and make me feel stupid

Hi!

I just went through the main still shooting menu and it's the last option, just below the colour mode (sRGB/Adobe). It's not selectable if Raw is used, I think.

I didn't bother with the instruction book - very badly written!

Read the manual, and get the most out of the camera.

The audio icon may be the wind noise cut icon. As you can record motion clips from all the recording modes, all the relevant setting for motion clips are on display too. Nothing to worry about.

There may also be a setting about taking audio notes.... Check the settings in the main menu. Hope this helps.
