--I sent my 7D in to Mississauga, Ontario Oct 28 for the typical focusing issues. They received it and the website was updated to indicate "Work in Progress". I phoned yesterday and mentioned that generally people south of us that have sent it into Irvine or Jersey are getting it fixed quite quickly, (on the whole). so he updated my case to "Rush Shipping".
This morning I phoned and asked them if they can tell how many jobs are in que ahead of myself. He checked my work order and he said a new body is on order because Canon Canada has no software to fix my problem! C'mon, unless my 7D has a problem that no others have, sure give me a new body but using the excuse that software isn't available.
Sorry to vent but has anybody else up here heard of this excuse and what are my chances of getting a good copy this time?
