There are so many ways to get a printout from this printer, I would like to try to make sure that I am using the optimal method. My prints seem good , but to get best results I usually have to adjust my red by -6 in PS. Here is my current method (Printing from PS6, should I print from something else ?):

1. ICM set to off
2. Highest quality mode set in the printer drivers

3. After editing picture, Convert image to BJ2000 printer profile (the one that comes with the printer)
4. Set print space to be same as source.

I have tried numerous different methods, including;

setting ICM to on, printing from Qimage, Canon Easyprint, converting to Adobe RGB and then specifying print space is BJ2000, etc.

Any better methods out there ?

Here are the exact settings that I am using on the S9000 with Canon's Photo Paper Pro.
Source: Adobe RGB
Print: Printer Color Management
Media Type: PPP
Print Qulaity: High
Color Adjustment: Photo

I do not enable ICM. I print from PS6 and now 7. I don't do a special printer profile conversion. The results are great but be sure to wait 15-20 minutes before judging a print. This paper takes time to "cure".
