What is the recommended size and type of memory for 7D

I would appreciate learning what is the recommended type and size of memory for the 7D. I have read the specs on memory types it can use, but can not find any recommended size requirements and what would be best for mixed use(still and video).

Also can some some give me some idea of how much memory is used in video mode and what the recording length can be?

This info is pretty widely available. 25MB per RAW, 6.6MB per JpegL, up to 330MB/min for video. Any decent speed card should be fine for video, but for shooting 8FPS, you'll get longer and closer bursts with a high-speed card.
