Does anyone know of any Photoshop plugins that would set up a page to print multiple copies, like you get from a photograph studio. I'd love to be able to print sets of
prints at one time to pass out to the family.

Thanks,
Julia

Try Qimage Pro - $30.

Don't know the URL, but you can search for 14 day free download. It has many options for multiple prints.

Going back to Julia's question -- if one is using a printer profile in Photoshop, what printing programs are available that will utilize those profiles and also allow one to position images on a page as well as print mulitiple images on a single page. Having a photoshop plugin to do that would make sense. Anyone know of one or a stand alone that would make use of those printer profiles.
Thanks,
Pete

Try using the program called packagizer.com This program is used in studio and is relatively cheap at $500.00. Try Kodaks at $4500.00 for event imaging.

I just downloaded this a few days ago, and love it. Great features for $30. Does lossless jpeg rotations & flips, 7 different interpolation algorythms, which you can set to automatically be applied to printouts when the are below a preset dpi, arrange photos in any way on a page, at different sizes, apply filters to pictures without changing the original picture (filter settings for each pic saved in separate file), and I'm still learning how to use it. Some of the features are not intuative at first, but easy once you figure them out.

Definately try it.

Pete, Julia,

the only way I know how to get multiple-up PHOTOS printed from inside Adobe PhotoShop is to use a PostScript Printerdriver which supports multiple-up printing, like 2-up (2 of the same pics on your paper, 4-up, 8-up or 16-up etc.)

I know Adobe PS 4.2 driver for Windows 95/98 with EFI Fiery driver does this ( I use this driver almost always to print to full-color lasers from Xerox, where I work). You don't need Adobe PS 5.0 for WinNT 4.0.

Let PhotoShop create a PostScript file in multiple-up mode, run this PS-file through Acrobat Distiller and you'll get a very nice PDF-file, which can be perfectly printed to any supported Windows-printer. Of course, the same works on Mac.

You can follow the following link

http://www.efi.com/training/fileindex/xerox/xerox_zx_40_v2.1.html

download the "xerzx4021w95prt.zip" for Win95/98
download the "xerzx4021nt4prt.zip" for WinNT 4.0
download the "xerzx4021prt.sea.hqx" for Macintosh AdobePS and PPD

to download the Adobe PS-driver with PPD (PostScript Printer Definition) for Xerox DocuColor 40 v. 2.1 which supports this feature. Just connect it to "file" and each time you print it will create a .PRN (PostScript Printfile) which can be run through Distiller.

I don'y know of any real PhotoShop plug-in that can do this!

Good luck,
Peter Kruijt

You can actually set this up yourselves in Photoshop and make it an action to use every time you want to make multiple images on a sheet and it'll cost you nothing but ten minutes in front of your computer. Rather than explain it here follow this link to another Digital Site where Neal Ammons has written down instructions on how to make these actions. They work great and make life a whole lot easier.

PS Packagiser software is great if you own a Fuji Pictrography Printer and Kodaks PC Pro Software only works with Kodak DS Printers.
