Panasonic replacing free ZS3 case

For those of you who have received a free case (that is too small) for your ZS1/ZS3 from Panasonic as part of the free case and 4GB SDHC card offer: Panasonic will replace your case. You should be getting a post-paid return envelope to return the case that is too small. Once they receive the returned case, you will be sent a replacement that is supposed to fit.

I called the fulfillment company at 1-866-852-3590 to complain about the case being too small. I believe they are planning to send the return envelope to everyone who already received the case, but if you don't receive one, you could try calling. I received my return envelope today.

Clearly, Panasonic is doing the right thing here - they are taking steps, at their expense, to fix a problem that should not have happened...

Now, Panasonic needs to do the same type of action for their battery problem

Just received my Free (rebate) ZS3 Case and 4GB SDHC card from Panasonic...
The Leather Case is nice, has a belt loop, and magnetic snap closure...
Plus... It's the Correct Size for the ZS3

Thanks Rob...for posting your info on the free promo ZS3/TZ7 case you received, since I have yet to receive anything yet for my ZS3...it's been probably over a month now since they got my form. Hopefully, I'll get the correct size case and not the smaller one that won't fit.

Yes, I got smaller case and called and was told they will ship it to me in a month!!!
That was 2 weeks ago, so far I didn't get anything yet.

Hope to get it soon.

How long did you wait until you get prepaid env?
How long it took to get proper replacement case?

I received my ZS3 on 25 May...
It was about 28 May when I mailed rebate form to Panasonic
Received Case and 4GB SDHC card today, 18 June - Total time 3 weeks
It arrived via UPS Ground from Memphis TN, tracking shows it shipped on 16 June.

Depending on volume of rebates for Panasonic to process, and your shipping distance from Memphis - I would think you should receive them in 3-4 weeks from submission.

The rebate form lists a web site to check on the status of your rebate...

However, every time I checked - I got... "Server Error..."

Mine fits fine but does not have a number on it. It's a nice little leather case that folds over the front and has a magnetic snap. Belt loop in the back. Says LUMIX on the front and on the back there is a Panasonic label on the loopOnly fits the camera though, I don't see one exactly like it on their website but it is similar to the style below without the snap on the side. Will try to get a picture of the real case up soon Jerry
