I thought something like that was written in somewhere but like you say if it could be written into the topic announcement post it might stand as a little reminder a. I think it will have to written in caps though:-).......Maybe in bright red too.

Just angle your camera slightly up or down. Are you talking almost macro where it won't auto focus Jano? The lens should have no trouble focusing especially in reasonable light. If you're too close for the auto to work then the manual focus won't work either, the lens has a minimum focus distance so you have to stay just outside of this minimum for focusing to work whether auto or manual.

Don't forget Jano any picy taken with a wide angle lens is a wide angle picy so you should have no problems posting any picy with your lens set on 24mm or 28mm. The only slightly difficult part of this challenge is having to post ONE picy showing distortion out of the three you post. So two picys can look very normal & only one has to have distortion in it. Just tilt your camera up or down & you will see the vertical lines all start to lean in or out.

Are going out for the rest of the day. I will check the fred when we get back for starting another one but if we run out before hand & a new fred gets started can whoever starts it copy & paste the contents of the first topic post into the new fred. Thanks
