flash

Is this what you mean?

http://www.alzodigital.com/online_store/flip_flash_bracket_digital_camera.htm

They sell adptors for that one. seems to me if you found one with a tripod 1/4-20 on it you would be better off though. even if you use ISO flashes I think it would be better

it's funny that at the top of the page they say "COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY DIGITAL SLR CAMERA EVER MADE"

then in the features they say. "The shoe mounts are not compatible with Konica/Minolta flashes"

Don't the iso mount flashes fall off these things ?

Try a Stroboframe see
http://www.tiffen.com/products.html?tablename=stroboframe

Would probably need a
SONY FA-CC1AM & FA-CS1AM
OR
Monolta OC-1100 & OS-1100

to attach to the Flash Shoe on the camera and provide a new Flash
Shoe on the Strobrframe.
My Stroboframe flip-flash bracket works fine with the above-listed off-camera cord and shoe. However, I don't like the way the bracket works for vertical or portrait shots and am switching to the Custom Brackets Pro-M camera flip bracket. It's expensive, but I got a pretty good deal on ebay. Stroboframe also makes an inexpensive camera flip bracket.

Are there any grips that have to wires leading to the sony hot shoe inside the grip, so a cable is not needed?

Would a slave flash with the sensor facing the direction the camera is facing fire?
