CD/DVD labels

--

Thanks everone for your inputs - I ended up buying the hub printable taiyo yudens along with a cd tray and modified my canon mp970 to print on cd/dvd.

It really is much better not sticking labels on anymore.

I have used paper labels on thousands of discs and never had a problem. I use only the Neato/Fellowes labels. Once you put one on it is never coming off. I get the 200 packs at Amazon for something like $30. I also use the Verbatim inkjet printables.

I only started using these white glossy premium when they were recommended by the Discus software people.

I had been having trouble having Verbatim printables play on other people's dvd players. I then learned that -R worked more universally than +R.

I'm not crazy about the flat black areas on the printing when the disk is held at a certain angle, or the roller marks on the printing, but the color is nice and vibrant.

I also wouldnt mind a recommendation for nkjet printable media...
