High noise, Low DR.. Damn

..I should have been clearer in my point. That is, you could make
most types of images and capture most scenes with almost any camera.
It's the light, subject and connections that make photographs, for me
at least.

You could buy the lowest end Dslr today with the lowest end lens and
still I doubt you'd miss anything due to the limitations of the
camera. The limitations of how well you know it, thats a different
story.

I just get my hackles raised a bit when I read the open talk forum
going round and round in circles about A being better than B, and C
being a dead end. When most of them seem to be so concerned with
said forum that they don't actually go out and produce anything at
all..
Certain dslrs are better than the others for certain things, but all in all they can all produce good images. I do agree with you that it is always better to go out and shoot rather than be concerned if the camera you own is better than the one you do not. And no offense was meant in my previous post, it was only my silly opinion.

What are the details of the shot? (ISO,f-stop,exposure)?

I presume all exposures were the same, right?

Indeed, and I get more upset at the silly amounts of money being thrown about for a 'little bit sharper' or a 'little bit less noisy'. If you stand back and look at things from a distance, is it worth it? Alas its not my money, so I sleep easy :)

None was taken at all, your opinion is welcome.
