Forgive me, I have dummies question. I reading some forums, but can't full understand, what mean IQ? I understand that it something about qaulity, but really what? Please explain. Thank you.

IQ = Image Quality, and not a dumb question.

Yes it is Image Quality = sharpness edge to edge - color capture - sharpness at a wide range of apertures - CA - purple fringing - flare control etc.

You have the best and fastest focusing 70-200 available for A mount.

The Tamron is close on image quality but no where near on focus speed and no focus limiter switch etc but only $700.00 not $1700 (new price from Sony on 70-200G).

Since chipmunks came up i couldn't help myself...
Greetings to you all from Nebraska, USA.

This shot was taken with my A300, in hand, with the kit 55-200 at 200mm, ISO 200, 1/400th F/9 in Program mode, no flash. It was my 1st day with the cam (thus the P mode) so was still experimenting. I'm an old film guy just moving into DSLR.

Oh yeah, Just wanted to say you might want to get rid of some of the chewing gum. I didn't notice it first time round as you led the frame into the chipmunk very well.

I see the chipmunk in your shot & the one posted by Banjozeek are gray. Here in Virginia, they look identical, but are more reddish brown. And, you are correct, they seem to freeze (nice for the photographer) as long as you don't get too close.

My shot was taken in late Oct so i wonder if the munks were getting their winter coats in? If they do that... don't know.

May chipmunk live in Sri Lanka. All animals in Sri Lanka is isolated many years in island.
