My reason for jumping the ship is a little different from others. However, basically the same: poor quality (low resolution) and high price of Pentax gear. I have already found a much better (and surprisingly less expensive) camera which fits my needs and will switch from my K10d to this nice piece of technology. I'm not sure you have already seen it, but i guess everybody should follow me here.

Btw, here is the camera: http://up4.us/archives/~funny_pic/002205.php

Farhad, you are free to do what you want of course. But before you rush into it I would find out if that photo of the amazing camera was taken with the same camera. If it was I would be questioning the value of so many pixels because the photo quality does not appear to be that good for 5.5 Terapixels ;-)

Cheers

PS you should probably wait for a review here.

Ha Ha! I thought this was going to be another one of those I'm leaving, convince me to stay rants, that are so boring, and a waste of time.

Thanks for the chuckle.

If Pentax users are Pentaxian, what do they call Penchan users? Penchan-chan?

I'm sure those dpreviewers are biased to C*, N*, S*, P*, O*,... and will not give this terapixel camera a fair review any soon. I am in hurry and wanna take pictures :D

...has it that those composite blue plastic camera bodies are infested with polyestermites. Make sure you keep it separate from your plastic DA lenses.

--If it doesn't have that gimmicky video feature, I'm not buying;-)

But what about shooting in wet weather....that little duckie doesn't even look like he can swim? I put a duck on my K20D and took him to the pond and he did great! Let's see you do that!

'This is more serious than I thought.....but it is still fun!

No oversight, no conditions, no questions... just take my word that it's really 5.5 terapixels!

If all else fails... just get a bigger lens!

With that much resolution, I don't blame you. Do they have a model that has interchangeable lenses? I might follow suit if ever. :)

But I'm a little worried about the size of the RAW files.
