We have a daycare and do alot of inside pics of the kids. Can someone tell me what all I need for an external flash? I.E. flash, cable etc..

We are new to photography and know nothing of what we need. If you could recommend some products(model numbers) that would be great. We called a photography store and they said the ex. flash costs over $300..Yowww

Thanks for any help or useful links!!

The least expensive solution is to buy the Nikon SK-E900 bracket which comes with the AS-E900 adapter. With this you can mount any Nikon compatible flash. The least expensive of these are the Sunpaks. The 266D (GN 64) and the 355AF (GN 86) cost about $50 bucks and the 433D (GN 120) costs about $80. You can buy them all at Cameraworld.com.

Check out the external flash faq for all kinds of information on all kinds of levels of flash solutions.

a good Nikon match would be the SB-22s. Lots of power, compact, and not loaded with useless features.

Matto:

I found my SB 22 on ebay and saved the cost of the AS E900. There seem to be quite a few SB 22s on ebay.
