Can you help me ID these flowers?...

These were all taken at the Gateshead 2008 Summer Flower Show. If you could give me the common name and the scientific name I'd be very happy.

1. I think it may be a Collerette Dahlia.



2. I think it may be a Ball Dahlia



3. I think they may be Catus Dahlia



4. I think it may be an Old-Fashioned Pink Carnation



5. I have no idea on this one!



6. Maybe some type of Osteospermum



7. Again, no idea. Not a lot to go on but I'm hoping the tendrilly (?!?) middle bit is a clue.

not a clue, but they are some of my favourite flower shots i've seen on here for while. esp like 6 and 7. the sharpness on all is fantastic though - thanks for sharing.

1. 5 I have seen at Longwood Gardens in PA but I can't think what it's called.

1. 7 looks like a hibiscus.
