Drew,

Nice.................what program are you using to stitch together?

I have a "Quick Stitch" program that came with my Oly C-2500, but I can't get more than four images to stitch up. I did a nice pano in Branson, MO a week ago that consisted of six images..........but could only use four of them. I even tried stitching together three and three and then stitching those two panos together.........didn't work.

Hello George,

Like yourself I can only seem to join 4 shots at a time, I am using PhotoSuite III but on a 9 shot sequence it will not work with 3 and 3 and 3. Thank you for your interest.
Jim.

Excellent, excellent. I looked at it for quite a while trying to find the usual tell-tale clues, but you've done too good a job!! Like the others, it'd be great to hear how you did it and with which software package... And what kind of tripod?

Dave

Thanks for all your comments.... Sorry I can't take too much credit for the stitching as I used the wonderful Panorama Tools software. It is shareware and the best yet?! Easy to use, sensible interface. I overlapped each shot about 40%.

Excellent. Especially considering the slow shutter speed and quickly fading light at that time of evening. J-

Hello

Long time for me to be on here. I've been busy working on a 5-6 month project converting over 1500 slides (1X1) over to digital images with Nikon Super Coolscan 4000ED which I was given for Xmas last year. Then I had the problem on how to store these so I bought the new Pioneer DVR-A04 DVD Rewrittable drive (DVD-R/RW) Well enough on that.

I was looking into purchasing the Olympus WCon-08B extension lens but some of the more reptable places are selling it for $150-170 dollars. I know when I first bought my E-10 a few years ago i saw these lenses for about $90-100 dollars.

Also wondering if there are any new accessories or new gadgets for the E-10. I have all of the Olympus accessories except for the wide angle lens which I could of used last summer. I didn't think I would need it but I sure wish I would of had it for several photo shoots.

I downloaded the Panorama Factory V2.4 Just wondering is there a FAQ anywhere on how to take Panorama Pictures with the E-10.

Emails are welcome. I tried to look on Jason's Busch website for the best price on this lens but could not find the link that he use to have on his site with the best prices.

Michael

nice work drew...

yup...stitchng is fun!! have you tried stitching in 2 layes? "matrix"?

here is an example of what i did...i don't now if you've seen it..

but eventhough you can connect pics...sometimes you will still need a wide angle lens for you to shoot a pic w just a 1 shot (eg. group of people)

and it's really cool to shoot art shots using a wide angle lens!!

My first stictched image was 3 rows of 3. It took me all day to stictch using Pano Tools. Worked well though and looked just like a much higher quality straight print. Could print to A3 with the image quality of a 5*4.

Only thing that didn't work was a person slipped into the field of view along one of the seams and in the stitch all you can see is a disembodied pair of legs. Quite funny really...
