Sync cable?

Hi.

I don´t understand the problem with the sync-cable. Is it hard to get or doesn´t it work? I was in a local store and saw a 3030 sync cable for an externalflash. The cable was from HAMA and costed about 7$.

Oly hasn't released their synch cable or bracket for the 3030 yet. Since, with the 3030 Oly went with a propriety socket design rather than the standard so everyone is waiting for Oly's cables with a plug for the new socket. Has someone else beat them to the punch? The HAMA cable is definitely for the 3030 and not for the 2020?

I didn´t look that close to the package, but reasked and got confirmed that it was for the 3030. I will doublecheck it tomorrow, how shall the cable exactly look like?

Above page has pictures of some common flash cords including
HAMA brand. None of those are for the 3030. But it's quite
possible that a flash cord company has scooped Oly on this.

OK, I´ll check that tomorrow. Anyway I´ll be searching Hong Kong next week for the cable. I´ll buy some extra cables if I find any!
