Tethered shooting

Looking to try some tethered shooting on a D300.

Anyone got any advice on what to use to give this a try. Looking for a freeware / download / trial software package to look into seeing if it will work for me.

Is the Nikon s/w any good.

I don't do a lot of studio work, so don't want to spend £££ on somethig I might get little use of.

I wrote a script to let me shoot tethered for my d40 into my windows pc and now i have a d300 it works on that also. I'm in the same boat, didn't want to spend cash on software for this as it'll be a rare thing I use it I guess.

Im just releasing a new application called 'Master' that focuses on remote camera control - Not sure if its the type of tethered shooting you are looking for though ?
