Hi

I am going to go for a trip where I need some hiking maps in electronic format. I have a PDA (MDA Pro) but I am not happy with the viewer installed and I can not see the maps. I was thinking about using the viefinder of my camere (Canon 400D) which can zoom in pretty well but I get a "Unknown image" icon for the image of the map.

Any ideas either for a better viewer on my PDA or a hack to see the image on my camera ?

Thank you
XQ

PS My impression is that I can not see really large files on my PDA because of insufficient memory

How are you uploading the image to the camera? If you use Zoombrower EX it should work. Just copying the file from your hard drive will not, at least that has been my experience with the G9.

I tried this after I read your suggestion but I can't find a way to do it.

The flash is not seen as a local drive although the utility can see the camera and download images from it.

Thanks

In Zoombrowser, click "Acquire camera & setings" (or something like that).
You will see the option to "copy to card" (again, sometihng like that).
If ZB can read the card, there should be no reason it can't write to it.
