The weather has been nice in recent days here in the Western Isles, Scotland. I went out to experiment with my new, but pre-owned GX100.
Tracks: B&W mode, 1/176s, f/8.1, ISO 80
Natural Elements: 1/104s, f/8.1, ISO 80, barrel distortion corrected in CS3.
Boulderglow: 1/660s, f/3.6, ISO 80
Makes me feel a little giddy: 1/68s, f/8.1, ISO 80
Soon: 1/410s, f/4.5, ISO 100
All taken with -0.3 or -0.7EV. I won't be setting the aperture as high as f/8.1 again due to the evident lens diffraction. I also shot some short videos but found the compression produces artifacts, the WB would occasionally get confused and the exposure changes were too stepped, not smooth. Actually, the Ricoh seems to record at 600-800 Kbps less than the Canon 570IS which has 30FPS video also.
I also shot this macro which I've been meaning to try for ages, and finally the Ricoh's close macro abilities enabled it:
24H and beyond: 1/28s, f/4.5, ISO 100, macro mode
