You can try, but aren't they way out of stock? With a 2000 order backlog?
Most posters (myself included) couldn't get the 990 from them for either $873 (buy.com original price a while back) or now the $893, and they had no date for stock to arrive or backlog to dry up.

Buy.com is claiming that they have a big batch coming in end of June that will clear all outstanding orders. I have been waiting for my $821 including shipping order for a while-thanks for my ELAN IIe.

Ordered mine on May 2. Latest word from customer support is end of june with no guarantees. Only reason I'm not canceling is the price -- $811.23 delivered.

I've always had great service from buy.com. No exception with my CP990 order. Ordered it May 2, received it 10 days later. Love the thing!
