I like blurry pictures. Please post some.

I took this one prior to digital. Every photo on a roll of 36. Every one was out of focus, but i liked the compostion on this one...

WOW

That is spectacular!
Thanks Pierre and Carol
Was that just a 1 in a million snap with 00.1% perfect focus?
I got lucky with that shot although I was tracking it for a while. I had a SMC-M 120/2.8 lens on my Pentax DS and that bird was just a little quick for a full manual lens. I had about 2 seconds to meter and focus to catch it in full flight. So I call that luck...

this was accidental, my selection knob had slipped between
settings but I think the effect is kind of interesting

Love the dancing photo! You're right... it's a very interesting effect.

One that I bet you probably wouldn't be able to do again if you tried!!

Oh and WHAT A GREAT IDEA FOR A THREAD THIS IS!!!

Here's one that I want to have another go at:

I didn't have a tripod with me when I took this one... so the result is BLURRY

Even if I tried to do this one again the timing of the truck's progress on the bridge would be hard to get just right and I think there would be a lot of vibration...

In the meantime... this is one of my favourite duds!

Well, in browsing through I noticed this subject and couldn't help but throw in a few entries. I'm a frequent browser but rare poster in this forum - but been around Dpreview for a little over 4 years.

I have been very interested of late in slow-shutter motion blur during daylight - it seems to produce an odd, almost plastic type scene as opposed to night shots with motion blur which look more 'common' or normal to my eyes.

Here are a few I took using an ND400 filter:

I like to occasionally slow down the shutter to let fast motion produce a blur effect too:

Wide shots while driving usually result in odd motion effects if you slow down the shutter a bit. The center of the photo usually stays pretty still, but the outside edges of the photo tend to motion blur alot...makes for a bit of a tunnel effect:

Fun subject you chose!

Comments, critique, or questions always welcomed.
