Can you guys share tips on getting good pans without parallax
problems. What type of software do you use to stitch them together?
Do you need a special type of tripod head?
Well, for my Tower Bridge image (further up but reproduced here a bit smaller) it was all hand held. I think I used PS Elements 3.0 to join them, but I'm not sure - I did play around with some free tools I found on t'internet, so it may have been one of those.



[EDIT] I just retried using Photomerge in Elements 6.0 and it doesn't look good - it must have been a freebie. Long lost now since that PC blew up taking all hands with it :(

It's free and quite good, but does miss on occasion. I haven't tried others, but may in the future. Here's another I posted a month or so ago. Hand held.
