Ah right. thanks for clearing that up.Quite simply, it has now occurred on all three of my computers. I
have tried different data cards, and older as well as newer images
(it didn't occur with the earlier images until a couple of weeks ago,
but now if I use folders containing only the older images, DPP still
crashes if any of the files are not CR2).
In some threads, I have seen that others have this problem, and all
they can say is try to limit the number of files in the folder. In
other words, this problem is pervasive and Canon knows about it. I
must assume that they are working on it as we type.
Did you type lens in to the search box? mine comes up with a few result including "editing RAW images with RAW image adjustment features" From that link you get a page all about RAW editing. scroll down until you get to the "Correcting Lens aberration" section. You said "Have a look in the help file, there is a list there."
My help file for DPP 3.2.0.4 does not have any listing for "lens" or
"aberration" or anything like it. Could you please guide us to the
settings in the help file where we can find the list of supported
lenses?
Thank you
According to the list in Dave's post earlier that particular combo is not supported ( 3).Hi!
I have recently upgraded my DPP to 3.6.1. I'd like to use the feature
of lens aberration correction. But it is inactive.
Can anyone advise me why it is so?
I shoot with 30d coupled with Ef-S 18-55 IS lens.
Thanks!
