D40 pics...c&c?

I just bought a D40 and took a few test pictures. They are on the following website (sorry, the pics won't appear if I link them in the forum)

I just came from the digital P&S arena, but I use a film SLR for years.

Mighty narrow DOF on the shutter-speed dial picture, but the rest look nice! (I also have a D40.)

Nice composition. I think I most like the fact that you have a narrow depth of field on the flower with the background slightly blurred. That combined with the compositon makes it a pleasant photo.
