I'm pretty sure (not positive) Getty's minimum is 12mp. So none of those cameras would work. You'd need something like the 5D, D300, D3, etc.

Getty's website doesn't say, I assume? Still shouldn't be too hard to google and find out, I'd think.

Any of those will work , most sites will have a listing of the minimum & maximum megabyte they will accept.

25 years as a freelancer,(news, magazine, wedding photography) camera equip. over the years: Practica MLT, Canon A1, Minolta 9xi, 7xi, Dimage Z1,Fuji 5200,Canon S2,Pentax K100D,Olympus 380(see my Z1 shots at http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v104/Buckl/ the COMMUNITY album was done with the Z1, and most of the photos in the album:Other were w/the Z1)

Getty will only accept pictures taken with the two upper tier Nikon DSLR's and about three (maybe 4) different Canon DSLR's.
Getty is very paticular.

This has always been a "bone of contention" especially with semi-pro photographer's but Getty doesn't care. You either play their game or you don't play.

Guess thats one way to get those 1DS MrkII and D2Xs owners to upgrade every time a new model comes out.

Remember . . . always keep the box and everything that came in it!

But they would probably laugh if someone tried submitting a G9 image unless it had perfect lighting, and if you're going to get perfect lighting with reflectors, etc, why would you be using a P&S? :)

Oops. You're quite right. I knew it was a P&S, I just assumed it was
