As I recently predicted to much scorn, the replacement for the 5D will be sub $2,000 and essentially be a 40D type spec with a 5D type imager.

What's the big deal? 9 months ago I said the 5D range will be split into 2 models and that the entry level 7D would be ~$2K. I would also expect a higher spec 5D II.

No, we will be laughing at you after PMA. Anyone can register a UPC code, and the 7D was listed on UPC sites at least a year ago by people like you, lol. :)
