This is a weekly thread devoted to street photography.

The street has a thousand voices, a thousand moods, a thousand rhythms. The full range of human emotion is on display on the streets of our cities, from joy to anguish to diffidence to despair, if only we only slow down long enough to look for them.

Show us a little part of your world--- all cameras welcome, all styles of street shooting appreciated.

Hi,

Kind of liked this one, but the E510 banding hit it quite bad.

Who needs High ISO when you can have Pure Whey?

I took this picture yesterday at a local street parade in the Portland Oregon area. It was with my Sony H2. I'm considering an Olympus E-510 in the near future which brought me to this forum (although I may change my mind). For the price and the reviews I've read, the E-510 with the Zuiko lens meets my expectations.

I hope it's OK to post a non-DSLR picture. We had cloudy weather again, so it was a little difficult. Could the E-510 with a Zuiko lens make this so much better of a picture, under the cloudy skies that we often have here?

Of the two...which one do you like better? I sometimes experiment some, when we have cloudy weather to try to make the most out of the low-light conditions.
