Pentax photo gallery ad in American Photo

not to be picky.. but the lack of perspective projection on the contents of that orange 'page' really bugs me.

I noticed that when I saw it today. the rest of the ad is nice though

There is at least one photo in the Pentax photo gallery that says "Lens unknown" so I am assuming people can submit pictures taken with non-Pentax lenses. I am right?

I tried to convince myself for a moment that the bottom left image was one of mine, but I was unsuccessful.

Maybe someone here will claim one.....

The Pentax Photo Gallery start page used to cycle through random images from the premier gallery, and seems to show the same images each time now............or maybe it's my imagination.

Some of my (few) photos were submitted early on when there was no list of A and M lenses to choose from. There was no choice but to put lens unknown. Having said that, the submission rules no longer say taken with a Pentax SLR and Pentax lens. Just Pentax SLR.

That's good to know Guy, I haven't been able to enter many photos into the gallery as most of my 'good' stuff was captured with a Tamron lens...

Thanks!

of all the camera ads i've seen, imo the pentax ads are of high
class. i don't know if it's just me but that's what i think of these
kinds of ads by pentax.

I don't mean any offense here, but "high class", that's going a bit far isn't it? ;^)
