Finally learning my 85mm 1.4!

I have found the 85mm 1.4 lens not as forgiving as the 70-200 f/2.8 VR. Certainly not a fault of the lens, but of me learning how to use it effectively. Here are a couple of shots.

Did you sharpen the images during PP? They look artificially sharp to me.

what did you use to sharpen?

Maybe you should have sharpen only the eyes and the hair but not the skin... tho it looks amazing its doesnt quite give a natural look tho it doesnt sream photshop either...

The second image is horrendously oversharpened. Most here are doing you no favor with their great shot posts. If it looks this bad onscreen, imagine what a print would look like.
