Sheri,

The basic problem is that earlier versions of NT (3.x and 4) do not recognise USB, and it is the USB connection that the 775 uses to transfer data.

Depending on your version of NT, and the configuration of your systems motherboard, you might be able to find NT USB drivers, and then you have a chance of getting the camera working as a mass storage device (it will show as another disk drive on the system).

Once you can see the camera as a disk drive, there is no need to use NikonView. Any image manipulation application will be able to work with the jpg files, and Windows Explorer can be used to copy the files from the camera to the PC.

Thanks Jeff. Yes, I have NT 4...it's a government computer in my home. It has the plug-in for my program in the back of the unit, and I've looked into the multimedia drivers and it lists all kinds of drivers to add to the system, but I haven't got a clue which one might work? Any more ideas? Thanks a lot. Sheri
