Faulty joystick on 995?

Does anyone have experience of the joystick pad becoming loose? Mine has just recently - even rattles when I move the camera. Will take in for repair soon but I need it soon.

Is there a risk of the thing falling off or anything else breaking if I use the camera before then?--Kind regards,

I think that's normal. I have an 880 and the one whole piece rocker/joystick was lose from the beginning. It' won't fall off.
