I know we could always get alternative caps, but somehow it's the kind of thing I never get round to inspite of repeatedly cursing the cap when wanting to leave the hood on and wanting to put the cap on as well... I love it!It's the item I am first to loose....
If I get mine, and Wim askes me to send him mine because I will loose
them anyway, it will get lost before I arrive at the post-office.

Can somebody post some pictures made by this lens?
Yes, now I think they have done just about everything I could want (except miraculously make the whole thing as small as my FA43Is that a Tamron style cap that you can pinch in the middle to remove
it from the lens??? If so that would be soooooooo great!! It's always
been a pain to use a front cap with a hood attached, now it would be
a breeze!
I thought we knew all there was to know about the specs of this
lens... Some surprises still!!
Yes, you are right, I think the pinch cap is a Tokina thing too (as in the 12-24mm)....Let's hope the 77mm pinch-style cap (I saw previously on the DA12-24)
trickles down for the smaller sizes (e.g. 67mm) as well.![]()
