--Last week, I went to spend some days in Provence, at my friends, next to Avignon, and we were able to assist the general representation of the opera of Puccini, Madama Butterfly, in this fabulous site of the Roman theater of Orange, magic place!
The representation was magnificent and very deeply moving of tenderness and humanity, served by a silky orchestra as one pleases and as a big clarity. The singers and the singers were quite simply superb.
The setting in scene of a perfect sobriety and a taste. I could install a tripod (of which I used only two feet for lack of place on the tiers), ballhead Feisol, Sigma 120-300 EX and the SD14.
400 and 800 Iso, speeds sometimes very slow. I was placed about at 25/30 meters of the proscenium. Here some moments of the evening:
