NYC Skyline

Very good Mr Williams, I think you have captured the "essence" of NYC, I would love to see if you have done my hometown London :-))

I would defo like to get into urban lanscape at some point, maybe you can pass on some good advice some time!

howd you get such HDR from a single shot, other than maybe the ND filter? seriously good post processing? if so, what sort of technique/what did you do to get it so nice like that? im assuming to it wasnt DPP... adobe?

Hi Andy,

First off, great shots. I'm a big fan of NYC shots so I'm not hard to please in that regard. :)

You shot at 24mm. Was that the 24-70/f2.8 or the 24/f1.4 prime?

Do you noticed any diffraction effects shooting at f22? I'm always hesitant to go above f16.

Appreciate your input.

Love your shots. I often photograph in DUMBO at that very site.
Just wondering what brand neutral density filter you used and any
tips about them you can pass on. Thanks. Carol
Hi, thanks :)

Not much to say, it's a B+W 10stop ND filter. Using is easy - slap it on, and your shutter speed is now much longer, allowing for smooter water :)

Try it and see - holler for help if you ever need it.
