If your referring to me, I am over it, I bought a lens from them! It's the b&h worshipers that can't get over it. They keep wanting to lecture anyone who criticized them. If you fall into that category, keep bowing to 'em that's fine, but you get over the criticism that will come their way.

that 400d was a show special price and the code was leaked and the wrong people(deal site members) were mass ordering. i believe the price was right but for targeted people.

bh said it was an error but i still believe it was a good deal meant for the people at the camera show but to say as an error was easier to cancel orders that shouldn't have been made.

I've been price watching the 100-400 between Amazon and B and H. Last week B and H had a lower price than Amazon's $1395. I think it all the way down to $1365, but I could be mistaken. All I know is it became cheaper at B and H with shipping than the Amazon price without shipping charges. Now, when I learn about the rebate, I see the price has risen to $1410.

So my experience differs from yours. To me, it seems the price of the lens has risen by nearly $50 since this past week. I don't think I am imaging this.

That said, I have no beef with B and H otherwise - I've had good dealings with them and feel they're one of the better stores. j

It just isn't that big of a deal it, didn't effect anybody. There was no SCAM even if they did raise there prices.. It's not like they said the item was going to cost 1 price, and then charged your credit card another. It's a total non-issue, and no i'm not a B&H worshiper, although I have bought from them in the past they don't get my business exclusively

No. The erroneous price on the 400D was just wrong.
