zoom lens

I've had the pentax 50-200 DA on order for over a month here in canada, cant seem to get it. I've been reading forums, and suddenly the thought comes why not a 70-300, my first lens is a tamron 28-75 which I really like and i would like the added reach of a 300.

Anyone willing to comment on photo quality of the pentax50-200 vs a tamron or sigma 70-300 ?

The DA50-200 is great at F8... the other lens may be ok but also may be cheap if you know what i mean (most people like it though) i know the 50-200 and like it within its limitations. I've been waiting 6 weeks for my Sigma 100-300 F4 to come in... 2 more weeks to wait!
