Hi, I'm taking my kids to watch Disney on Ice this coming weekend at the Rogers Center in downtown Toronto. Does anyone know if it's allowed to bring in DSLR camera?

Thanks for any info.

Hi, Tammy's right. Give them a loook and find out. One of the things about these types of shows, including sports events (in arenas) is that anything "pro" looking...DSLR with long lens...can get you thrown out or not even allowed in.

Our regional arena generally allows about a 3" lens for most event but sometimes not even that long. A 50-200 DA might sneak through but it is a little slow for such events.

Good luck :)

We went to Disney on Ice here in Phoenix about a month ago and before the show started they announced there was no still or video photography allowed throughout the show.

The reality was there were flashes going off throughout the entire show. No one near me (including me) had anything other than a point and shoot. I set mine to non-flash and took a number of shots and no one said anything...
