I was really pleased with how this picture came out. I had just built this R/C plane and this was it's first landing.

(Lets hope the picture gets posted correctly for once)

Jeez! Well, if anyone wants to let me know how to post pictures that aren't links that would be great.

Here is the big image, anyway...

Got a question about the plane instead of the photo. What brand and/or model is it. I am interested in getting an electric rc plane and this one looks to be pretty neat. Thanks in advance. -

Are you saying you want one taken when I was flying it? Coming right up!

To the previous poster, the model is a Diablo. You can buy the plans at http://www.3DBatix.com

However, I would not reccomend buying it to start off in R/C for a couple reasons. First off being that they only sell the plans, and unless you have mounds of R/C building stuff, it would be extremely hard. Especially if it was your first build. Instead of that, I would actually reccomend buying an AirHogs Aero Ace from a ToysRUs. It might sound cheap, but it is an indestructable $30 plane that you will have hours of fun on. If you fly that for awhile and see that you really want to get into it, then I would reccomend looking around for an ARF R/C Trainer. If you have a local (By that I mean within reasonable driving distance) R/C shop, I would go down and talk to them about a trainer that would help you get started. After you get it down, I would reccomend printing the plans for this and building it - It's a highly acrobatic plane. And when I say that, I mean like 2x thrust vs. weight. That means that it can vertically climb, etc. Good luck!

Here to go, Morris...

Put a "g" at the very end if you want to see it, I don;t want to have to paste it in again, and have it take up the huge space it did before.

Err, Ok. But you can't say I didn't warn you...

Lets hope it got posted as a link and not a picture (Crosses fingers)

Yeah, I am not sure what shutter speed I was shooting at but I was glad it was blurred.

Ok, ok. I will tell you the truth. My dad was actually flying when I took that picture. And here you are thinking I can multitask that well! Haha.

Oh, I figured out the problem. Apparantly, my Fotki free membership has expired, and I have to pay to be able to link pictures directly.

Time to find a new image hoster.
