Hi all,

can someone tell me what is the minimum speed for the CF memory card, assuming that i'm going to use the sequence shooting.

It's a 350d, and let's say, about 10 to maximum photos allowed by the camera is sequence at 3 fps.

Is a CF card with a 5mb/s writing fast enough?? i don't know the "internal memory" capacity of the camera. Don't want to spend a lot of money for a card, but must be able to save sequences.

thank you all.

Basically any CF card will get you within 1 frame of the maximum burst length for the camera. The internal memory of the camera stores the burst (or 1 or 2 frames shy of the full burst, but the first 1 or 2 frames of the burst have been written to card by the time you get to the end.) What faster cards get you is the ability to take another burst sooner after taking the first burst.

Canon cameras can't write as fast as the premium CF cards can be written, so there's no need to go for a top of the line card for write speed.

Any Sandisk Extreme III, Extreme IV (overkill), or UltraII will get about the same speed on your camera. Avoid Sandisk "standard" cards. Any 66x or faster (about 10MBps) should be able to max out your camera write speed. I think the fastest Lexar's edge out the Sandisks when used with Canon cameras.
