Your pics are saved on a website...somewhere. The large photos (not thumbnails). At the same time you are looking at the large size, look on your computer screen... that will show your what URL you are at. Copy this URL (highlight and right click> copy). Now paste that URL in your message...here. Try one. But before posting the picture, hit PREVIEW. If YOU don't see the pic, no one else will either.
Or I could have written: You can't be anymore of a novice than I am. However, I suggest you use photobucket. Saved pictures are each given 3 different codes. The bottom code... you just right click and select copy. Paste that into your message, here. But you need to remove the

I can't even get thethumbnails.
If you bring up the full pic in Yahoo. Copy the URL and paste into your post. Then add .jpg that is Dotjpg at the end of the URL your pic should appear in the post.
Not sure about Yahoo but it works from pbase, smugmug and similar sites. Look forward to seeing your photos.

Whilt the full-size or large version is open in your browser:
Right-click on the pic,
Choose properties that will appear @ the bottom of the menu,
Copy the URL from that properties pane,
Paste said URL into your message here,
hit preview,
If the pic appears in the preview then we'll all see it after you go back, finish any further additions to your message, preview a final time to make sure all goes well,
Then finally, hit post & we'll all be able to share your shots here....
If all that fails..
I'd suggest Picassa Web since it's free but that might require downloading Picassa2 from googles download page which won't be a bad thing since Picassa2 is a pretty decent pic viewer/organizer with pretty easy basic pic editing functions too....
Or option 3:
http://www,tinypic.com which is a free service specifically for embedding pics but it's for singular temporary use & has no permenent hosting of pics & no gallery capabiklities like picassa web or the slew of other mostly pay hosts....
Or option 4:
Check with your own ISP to see if they supply you with your own webspace that may be included with your account with them... Upload your pics to that & then procced with copy & pasting either thier browser URLs or thier properties URLs here in a message... Being sure that .jpg is at the end of whatever URL you use, even if you have to add it to the browser URL....
