I was astonished to see a price of $1189 for an E-20; when B&H price on inquiry was $600 more. Is A&M credible?

Be careful with these guys. I bought a full-warranty US E-10 and some accessories from that came quickly and with no hassles, but they admitted they WOULD have sent me a grey market camera if I hadn't asked them point-blank and told them I would not accept it. If you buy, use credit card protection and be prepared to assert yourself.I was astonished to see a price of $1189 for an E-20; when B&H

Patrick,
I sent this to them early this morning and included is the reply:

Hi,
Is the E-20 you are selling for $1189 the E-20N or the E-20P? And
are they in stock?
Thanks,
Jason

If they can't answer a few easy questions via email, they are
fraudulent.
I get'em every time.![]()
I wonder what they would say if I called and told them I was
recording the conversation...hmmm

Another question would have been if all accessores included in a
E20N as per Olympus are included in the box.
I'm quite sure that if you would have said that you were recording
the conversation you would have been promptly hung up on.

bwayphoto.com has a better reputation than A&M?

Seems to me you would need nerves of steel to order from these
companies.

I have a friend who has 30 years in the sales Business and told me straightforward that A&M and Broadway photo are the same company and DO NOT order from these guys. Con artist of the highest order. He know the system inside on out. He called his friend who owns a camera company and informed that the whole sale cost of the camera is 1600 so if some one says it is cheaper it is GREY.Jason:

As I implied before, your success with these guys may depend on how assertive you are, or as someone mentioned, whether you have "nerves of steel". I got the complete E-10 kit last March for a good price, including everything that was supposed to be included, US warranty, etc. But I went down the list with the guy, a, b, c, and verified everything that would come and the exact price. And yes, they knew I was recording the call(s). I was also prepared to return the entire order and let American Express handle it if necessary, and let them know it ahead of time. I would FAR rather buy from a local dealer, but there was not an E-10 to be had within 100 miles at the time that I could find. They probably hold, for ransom, the SM card, camera strap,...
I talked to them by the phone.... This price is for the gray market not the US model,,,, means no warrantyI was astonished to see a price of $1189 for an E-20; when B&H
