1/4" or 3mm to H-prong sync adaptor?

I'm looking at buying a cheap wireless flash trigger for my old Novatron lights. My sync cord input is the H-type (like a standard American electrical appliance plug). The unit I'm looking at (for a mere $20 on ebay) says it's not compatible with this type of input. I'm wondering if anyone here is aware of an adaptor that would convert my H-plug to either a 1/4" input or a 3mm input, either of which would work with this device. Any clue as to where to get it would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Great resource, thanks. The good news is that they have the item.

The bad news is that it's $28.75 plus shipping. That's hard to swallow when the whole radio trigger thing is only $20 plus shipping. I'm going to check Radio Shack, then, if they don't have it, may bite the bullet anyway.

Thanks for your help!

I think it's unlikely that Radio Shack will have it, but I think you could buy the piece parts at Radio Shack and build it for less than $10. I don't own your strobe, but I think all you need is a standard AC two-prong plug, a 1/8 or 3mm jack, and a little wire. If you buy the cheapest cord you can find that has the right jack on it, just cut the other end off and attach the wires to the AC plug. If you get the right AC plug, you can attach the wires using screw terminals of the terminal where you just stick the wire into a slot - no soldering required.

I've never built such an adapter for the AC plug format, but I have for others, with no difficulties.

Good luck,
Rodney

I made my own for that exact situation. Radio Shack had a household plug with about 3' of cord attached with bare wire at the other end. So I just bought a female stereo plug and soldered it to the end of the wire, which the wireless recevier plugs in to. It works perfectly. Just make sure to test the polarity before you solder.
