To everyone who contributed to this thread and particularly to those who posted their efforts. I'm astounded by the quality that you have managed to achieve considering the original picture.

I have printed off 3/4 versions and then my own and have forwarded them onto said friend. I'm think she's going to be very surprised and very happy with the results so once again thankyou very much everyone, your time and effort is very much appreciated.

Good to see your name pop up every now and then.

I come and lurk in this forum. Don't expect any contribution from me.
I simply enjoy what you guys and girls can do.

I do the same. I feel guilty at times not contributing. My PP skills aren't at the level of these guys. I'm constantly amazed.

More enjoyable than finding out how many megapixels this new camera
has or how noisy it is at ISO 400 !

Boy has the Nikon forum become so-so. That's why I don't bother any more.

A great forum with great artists.
Nice to see how so many are willing to help and bring images to life.
This series of retouching is just great, like some many I have seen
here before.
