How can I mount my IBM Microdrive, formatted with a Canon EOS 1d in OS 10.1.2. I am using the CF Card reader SDDR 31 from SanDisk. In 9.2.2 everything works fine, but in X the Microdrive would not be recognized. --Frank

Why don't you just connect the camera directly to the computer. It's not much slower and works great with MacOs X's automatic downloading. Maybe you have a driver issue.
I have the VST Dual reader and it works great.

Frank,
1st, congratulations on your aquiring a 1D. I am still waiting.

Is the card reader USB or Firewire connected? I have the "Lexar Media" connected to the firewire port and OS X recognized it right off with either a microdrive or CF card. I did have a USB connected Microtech card reader and was recognized by OS X as well. My OS is also 10.1.2.
Is it just the Microdrive or have you tried a CF card?

Hello,

The SanDisk CF Card reader is USB connected and works fine with a Canon CF Card. The Microdrive is only recognized in my "little" Canon S20 via USB but not in th 1d connected direct via Firewire. There are no problems in OS 9.

Hi

How dit you get the Canon EOS 1d to work direct via FW with "ImageCapture" in OS 10.1.2.
I know that the Nikon D1 works, but Canon...?
