EN-EL3E Batteries

I think what you have to do is to pre-pay, and just sit it out and wait. The prepaids are top of the list when the batteries come in. Last January I did just that: ordered and prepaid for four additional batteries at the local camera shop. I lucked out. The shipment arrived a week later. Battery hog heaven! :-)

We have at least 9 separate topics on this now

You know, of course, that Nikon will eventually catch up to demand ! Until then, it's our pleasure to help out one another in any way we can...

I'm surprised there isn't a website dedicated exclusively to tracking down hard-to-find Nikon products and accessories.

Oh wait ! This IS that website ! :=)

Just one week after ordering through ebay, the package from Hong Kong arrived.

One genuine EN-EL3e battery. That makes 3 for me. The one that came with the camera, the one that Cameta Camera through in as part of the bundle, and now this one. I think I'm good for now. ;)

Three cheers for Photo Pro, and a book mark for future reference! I clicked on the link last night, ordered two 2 @ $49 ea., and got a nice e mail this afternoon that they'd been shipped. I've been looking for D200 batteries for several weeks, B&H is out, Amazon back ordered until November, no one had them.

I ordered my d200 on Nov 1st 2005, and received it December 16th 2005. (Great Christmas that was! :) )

I then ordered 2 spare batteries January 12th and got them Feb 1st 2006. Paid $39.95 each.

I think on items like this the local camera stores are a better option.

Google "Pro Photo Supply" in Portland Oregon. Or "Citizen's photographic" another local store. They'll ship and they just might have them in stock. Or try ordering them from a local store near you. It worked for me.

Just ordered three from uniquephoto.com last night. They are now on their way. I paid $42 each. I have dealt with them before. Very reliable merchant. Shipping was a little hefty at $14, but the price of the batteries made up for it. I think they still have about 40 left.
Good luck.

Yes I see they have them, but I refuse to pay 20-30 USD over street
prices/internet List is $49.95....Thank you though, buy the time I
get them from Canada it will cost me $80 plus $$.. each.
Yeah, I hear ya. Was more of a shock to hear that they're so hard to find down there, when they are easily available here, was all. Wasn't suggesting you all come "steal" them from us! Heh Heh...
