Hi to all.... I am ex Antoine from Italy
Identity change.
Well just been to the store where I had purchased my 707. I returned the camera and was asked to run a test on the 707 stock, which, under my suggestion had been returned to Sony for BFS fix. I took photos using flash and changing shutter speeds. All the cameras behaved the same. All (5 cameras) had the blue tint starting at around 1/125. I did not investigate further as the signs were evident to the store owners who offered a refund. Another point to mention is the EVF/LCD display ugly reddish casts when high contrasting objects are viewed, yet, thankfully, none is viewed on playback.
Having used most digicams one thing needs noting. The DSC707 still remains the best performer out there. Other cameras have other more important issues that need to be addressed.
Sadly I had to part with my DSC 707 and hope to finally find a really fixed sony! I am still hoping that a solution exists.--Skyline
