Which would you have picked?

such that the orange on the right edge is removed but leaving as much of the flower pedal covering the peas as possible. I also like the minimalist composition in your gallery.

Thanks for all your comments. It's great to get different perspectives and suggestions. I'm also glad to see that the forum is as conflicted as I was - I kept going back and forth and round and round before settling on #2. I decided to choose the more abstract (though certainly not the most abstract of the bunch) close up, rather than one showing more of the flower (which was a pretty cool plant - $3 well spent). Here's one without the peas.
