Show us your dogs!!!!

Hi Sean,

Yes, it was Liz. She contacted me about some pictures so I took Torch out to a little local pond with my wife for a little doggie shoot.
Funny,

I was too (with Affenpinschers, see my photos above). Is it the
book being worked on by Liz Palika? If so, we'll have something in
common!

I just had three of my photos published in Darlene Arden's "Small
Dogs, Big Hearts", which came out in June.

Our CH Tamarin Teasdale "Teaser" is the #5 Affenpinscher in the
country (was number three until about a month ago). He was at
Westminster this year by way of the lottery and was on the Ellen
Degeneres show as part of their pre Westminster coverage back in
February. He's a great dog.

Thanks,

Sean

Cool,

Yeah, I'm going to try to do the same as ours are a little out dated. Teaser is in Ohio this weekend, then is off to Ontario (Canada) on Thursday to hopefully get his Canadian Championship.

Teaser got a Group 4 placement today! He's on track to being invited to Westminster this year (he's number 5 and 16 breed points above the next in line).

Hi Katz,
Hmmm, I bet your dogs get a chuckle over your name!

I loved the story about the dog who over heard the people swear off other dogs...it applies here, no doubt.

The 30D will swing back into action. I know. I just need a bit of time. You know that no matter how much you prepare for the inevitable, if the inevitable is a loss, it feels like new news regardless! I laughed at the vets in February. She was running, playing, so alive, so happy. I told the doctors they misdiagnosed her. That didn't stop me from continuing the chemo though. I am quite familiar with that little Egyptian river named "Denial".

Photography is such an interesting expression of "art". I love how it really captures individual instances, and how so often each shot is unique and potentially impossible to recapture. That's unlike painting where one has the ability to reproduce replicas more readily.
Where are the pictures of your pups? I'd like to see them.

Again, thanks for your thoughts, and the Rainbow Bridge poem. The first time I read it, it gave me goosebumps. OY, I'm such a "mooosh".

Gail,

I do have numerous images. Thank you for your kind words. The story about Pride was just ironic! He is adorable...These creatures are really the "peaks of motivation" in numerous ways.
Be well. Diana
